For the season of the Autumnal Equinox, or Alban Elved as I prefer to call it, Pine is speaking to us. Pine is known to balance the emotions by inhaling its wonderful evergreen fragrance while roaming around the hills and mountains soaking up its essence. By receiving the energy of Pine, Pine allows for subtle tides to enfold around us, easing the burdens of daily stress to create a harmonic vibration within and in our lives. By allowing Pine to enter our life we can associate wholeness to health to indulge in emotional freedom.

Take some time the next few months and walk in the wild woods with the autumn leaves crunching beneath your feet and song of birds in the crisp fresh air. Inhale this wonder aroma while absorbing positivity to produce output on your current projects so they may come to completion which gives breadth for new goals, projects or plans to be brought forth in order to free our minds and energy in motion (emotion).

Solstice Blessing!

Today I saw an incredible birth of the Sun while in awe of the events that transpired shortly after. While the Goddess was in the stage of labor I was given insight and go ahead a few changes to be implemented in all my blogs beginning with Xanga! Oh I will still read Ogham, however there will be a new twist. I will read only one Ogham instead of three and I will delver deeper into the reading while inserting a few goodies every now and then.

Ready?

This season begins with Muin-Vine.

Vine speaks: Like the luscious fruit that clings in bunches on the vine, the Children of Earth should cleave together to tighten the bonds during the upheaval that is surrounding them.

We are living in a time of distress as we are in a Recession; much fear is being cast about. Muin is asking us lay down our in-house squabbling with families, neighbors and friends who are in arrays. We need to make amends so we may come together become a community of love and hope rather in order to pull through the strife at hand. While war creates more war, it is that love creates harmony and peace.

VISUALIZE yourself as a grape on a vine, FEEL your fellow grapes next to you, huddled together. ABSORB the warmth and safety created by this union. MOVE this energy within your being and out through your aura. EXPAND outwards by 6 to 9 feet around your body while RADIATING unconditional love.

*Muin is the Irish name of the eleventh letter of the Ogham

Please forgive me, it is a couple days past Lunar Samhain and a couple weeks past the initial Samhain. I have been busy catching up with details since my journey to Oregon and according to lore all work must be done by Samhain, however I am a modern day druid and this druid's work never done!

Ruis-Elder
The time of hibernating within is now, dig self deep beneath thy roots and wallow there for awhile, feel the energy of Ruis encircling within and around you. Allow for the vibration to filter through your core.

Duir-Oak
As the leaves and acorns fall from the tree so do you only to be planted in the womb of the mother to rise an be reborn come spring.

Magic is an inherent quality that surfaces during periods of fallow time. Flow with current to find yourself.

Looks like we are back into the Fall season again... to be honest I can't wait until mid-fall; Alban Elved,(the Equinox), thats when the coolness arrives and I can go back outdoors and enjoy the beauty of season, breathing a sigh of relief, knowing that the time is near to descend into the darkness. The energies during this time of year brings me full circle within myself and nature and Ogham reflect the seasonal changes precisley.

Ur-Heather-Life above ground preparing to delve beneath the ground, reaching for the final rays of the sun. We too must reach for the light while tying up loose ends so we may return to our roots.

Duir-Oak-Through wisdom we gain knowledge, to seek the clarity of our vision that is held dear to our heart.

Muin-Vine-Soul that is ripening bears a heavy load, nectar sweet, ready for finalization of life altering changes.

Alban Heruin has arrived so has the heat! Nature has been most abundant this year; the plants and herbs are growing wild in my garden. The Fae has certainly been busy!

For this Solar Festival I drew 3 Ogham.

1. Luis-Rowan
Like a star that radiates light I to radiate a magnificence beyond worldly treasures. Seek the Light from with in to have it shine on the out.

2. Saille-Willow
Healing is powerful transformation which causes ripples within the tides of life to burst outwards in harmony with the universe and our earth.

3. Ur-Heather
Peace be to those who seek the shelter of Druid ways. For those who follow the ancient traditions hold strong to tribal values.

Quert speaks: Like the 5 pointed star that shines it rays in all direction we must shine our light in all directions. From blossom to fruit we bear the synchronicity that nature has to offer. The time is now to open our hearts and share our heart light with the world. From there we may walk the wondrous path before us that beckons with joy.

Gwyl Mair/Imbolc

Woo hoo! It is that time of year when winter is banished and springs arrives. I certainly did my share of banishing winter, twice even, perhaps should do a time third tonight, to ensure it is very much gone! As helpful as winter was to help me descend back into the depths of myself, I now create and partake of the spark of the life divine that currently resides inside of me.

I love walking my garden and the forest this time of year as it excites my senses and boosts my curiosity to see the new growth that has been stirring under the Earth, pushing upwards out of the ground, reaching their shoots to the warmth of the Sun. With winter behind us we can now "spring" forth with our lives to create a new way, a new path that embodies our soul, making our spirit whole and our lives more rewarding and fulfilling.

With the aid of Ohn (Furze) we can fulfill our intentions by the means blossoming outwards. Ohn speaks: As bees spiral outwards to produce their hives, me must do the same by taking our inner flame of light and spiraling it outwards to radiate our world. Our "Flame of Divine Light" is the caretaker of the body, for without it we grow dull and listless with no direction in life. To light your inner temple, make the ritual of gesture of Ohn on your heart, then old this flame high and shine it brightly, capture each change as a sign from the Gods.

Whether we honor Gwyl Mair and the Goddess Branwen or Imbolc and the Goddess Brighid, lighting the inner and outer temple fires tonight will sure bring about, blessings and life style changes that we have been requesting and waiting patiently for.

Today is Solstice Day, what a beatiful sunrise this morning, tis was gold and yellow later on to be highlighted by pink streaks before the sun actually rose in the air.

Today I have pulled 3 Ogham, Ailim, Beith, and Ioho all speak their words of wisdom.

Ailim-Silver Fir
I stand up straight in the mists of the snow, my pine cones scatter the ground as wishes to be planted as soon as seed sprouts. Take time to recognize dreams this season all the while secretly planting desires.
Beith-Birch
During the cold days ahead, one needs to shed worry whence their abundance will arrive or not. Know deep in heart flame that abundance already has been gifted. A dawn of new beginnings arrive.

Ioho-Yew
Death need not be wrought in terms of ill rather in terms of solace. Midwinter we face death of selves in our inner world only to be brought forth to light come Gwyl Mair. (Imbolc)
